Who these terms are with

Aether Holdings, based in the United States, operates Stockcastr, a forecasting and research service. Contact us at dev@helloaether.com about the service or these terms.

These terms cover stockcastr.com and your Stockcastr account. The privacy notice explains personal-data handling; the consent policy explains optional choices. Accepting these terms does not opt you into optional uses.

Forecasting, without a financial stake

You can read public questions and results without an account. An account lets you take part in the activities available to you, manage your profile and see your forecasting history. Some questions have eligibility requirements, deadlines and their own resolution rules.

Forecasts, community views, rankings and other material are information for research and learning. They are not personalized investment advice, a recommendation, or an offer to buy or sell a financial product. Information may be incomplete, delayed, wrong or corrected. You are responsible for your own decisions.

Points and reputation measure participation and performance. They have no monetary value and cannot be purchased, transferred, redeemed or converted into money or another asset. Stockcastr does not provide deposits, withdrawals, trading or brokerage through these features.

Your account

Provide accurate account information, use a sign-in method you control and keep your account secure. Do not impersonate another person, share access in a way that defeats account controls, or create accounts to manipulate outcomes, rankings or eligibility.

Google sign-in is optional. It is handled through our authentication provider; Stockcastr does not ask for your Google password. Google's own terms govern your Google account. You can also use the other sign-in methods shown on the signup page.

You must be legally able to enter this agreement where you live. Any additional age or location restrictions will be stated before signup is opened in the affected location.

Fair participation

Do not use the service to harass people, disclose private information, submit material you have no right to use, manipulate forecasts or scoring, or interfere with the service. Do not bypass access controls, rate limits or unpublished-answer protections.

Follow the instructions for each question. Submission deadlines, accepted answers, scoring and corrections are governed by the rules shown for that activity. A correction may change a result, points or ranking; the record may retain the earlier outcome and the reason for correction.

Your contributions and optional publication

You retain any rights you hold in the material you submit. You give the operator a non-exclusive permission to store, process and reproduce your submissions as needed to provide the service, evaluate results, maintain your history and produce community statistics that do not identify you. This permission does not override your privacy rights.

A public profile, a named leaderboard appearance, newsletter attribution and inclusion in a research dataset are separate choices where offered. They are not granted just by accepting these terms. We apply the choices described in the consent policy and the privacy notice.

Do not assume public financial data or another person's contribution is free to republish or use commercially. Rights in third-party content remain with the relevant owner.

Availability and account restrictions

Features may change or be unavailable during maintenance, failures or development. We do not promise continuous availability, a particular forecasting outcome or a particular ranking.

Access may be restricted to investigate abuse, protect the service or address a breach of these terms. Where available, the account and appeal tools explain the decision and let you request review. Account restrictions do not remove rights you have under applicable law.

You can request account closure through Settings. Closure and deletion are reviewed workflows; requesting them does not immediately erase every record. The privacy notice explains the remaining handling of security, consent and forecasting records.

Your rights and changes to these terms

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. You retain any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. Contact dev@helloaether.com if you have a concern or dispute; doing so does not restrict your right to use an available legal remedy.

Material changes will be published with a new version and effective date, with notice and renewed acceptance where required. A new draft or an edited page does not retroactively change the version you accepted.
